Attractive rate plans/options, for a multi-level / progressive living community

Waterman Village does offer a rate plan for our Villa Homes, with NO entrance fee required, as well as generous refund provisions for those that do.  Because of this, more and more adults are moving to Waterman Village from areas across the State of Florida, as well as the U.S., where the cost is often much higher to live at a multi-level of living, progrressive living, life-care, life-plan, or continuing-care retirement community.  One couple from New York recently stated, "Waterman Village is a great value!"  We do have a 25 pound weight limit for pets.

  • THE FREEDOM TO MOVE: Many continuing care, progressive living, or multi-level of living retirement communities require a large entrance fee, that's often completely non-refundable after just a few years of residency. If the resident needs or desires to move out of the community after a few years (ex. move closer to a child or for other reasons - which does happen), they can feel trapped.  They feel guilty about losing/forfeiting such a large sum of money, and, they may not have the money available to move into a similar type of community where they want to move to.  This is a very important factor that many people forget to think about before choosing a community. . . . . and often regret later on.  Since Waterman Village has life-time entrance fee refund provisions of 75%, residents don't have to worry about the above scenario, if they need/desire to move out.

  • ENTRANCE FEE REFUND PROVISIONS:  According to a report by the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA), the average continuing care retirement community (CCRC) (a community that offers independent living, assisted living, and nursing care all on the same site) independent living resident, will live in the community's skilled nursing portion/section, for 9 months. Based on the above report, the average person is better off financially, not to pay a large entrance fee that's non-refundable after just a few years of residency, in order to receive a discount in the retirement community's nursing facility for only nine months. And, nursing home usage across the U.S. is declining significantly. Why?  A) More retirement community 'independent living' residents are moving to a community's 'assisted living' facility on the campus, rather than the community's 'nursing home' on the campus, B) more retirement community 'independent living' residents are hiring 'in-home' health care so they can remain in their independent living unit longer, and C) hospitals are being rewarded financially, for NOT discharging their patients to nursing home/care facilities.

  • COMPETITIVE MONTHLY FEES FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING: In addition to the large entrance fees that many multiple level of living or continuing care retirement communities charge, many also charge much higher monthly fees for independent living than Waterman Village. These higher monthly fees add-up, year after year.

  • EARN MORE INVESTMENT INCOME: If you choose Waterman Village's no entry fee plan, you can invest more money.

People who already possess long-term care insurance, discover Waterman Village to be the ideal choice, when comparing/exploring progressive, continuing-care, or multiple level-of-living communities.  Why? Because people don't have to pay twice for long-term care financial assistance: 1) their long-term care insurance policy and 2) the high community entrance fees.
