The Resident Technology Support person will provide excellent in-home technology services and offer proficient, solution-based recommendations to address residents’ needs. The cost to residents for this service will be a minimum of $20.00 for each service call, plus an additional $20.00 for every 30 minutes of service beyond the initial 30 minutes. At the end of the service call, residents will receive a signed, detailed receipt, which will be submitted to our Waterman Village Accounting Department. Each resident’s Monthly Statement will reflect the charge(s).

Services included but not limited to:

  • Assistance with Comcast, Alexa, computers/tablets (Microsoft/Mac), printer, and cable TV setup, etc.
  • Diagnose technology issues through various troubleshooting activities, including telephone and in-home analysis.
  • Programming Channel 998; working with volunteers in their efforts to provide relevant content for our in-house TV channel.
  • Provide audio/visual support for various activities and functions.

CABLEVISION

The Oaks Resident: Oaks provides 195 channels (85 HD channels) per residence, with the option to add more channels and internet from Xfinity. The cost is included in the monthly charge. Local channels are included in the package. You will need to contact Xfinity to receive your cable equipment.

The Lakeside Resident: Lakeside is provided by Sentrics and offers 107 Channels (including 14 HBO and Cinemax Channels) and cable internet, with the option to add a house phone. The cost of TV, Internet, and Phone is included in the monthly charge. Local channels are included in your package.
