Tidbits is an “unofficial” email list for residents run by residents.
It announces new neighbors, birthdays and anniversaries, and death and funeral notices. We also occasionally list items for sale, wanted, or giveaways. It also shares Marc Crail’s notes from Mt. Dora City Council meetings.
TIDBITS does not duplicate official announcements from Andrew or the Activities office.

Important Tidbit Messages For Review
- A very significant medical study was just released by the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), which is a well-respected, peer-reviewed medical publication. Astapro (Azelastine) is a non-steroidal antihistamine nasal spray, which has been sold over the counter for several years and has been shown to have antiviral activity. This study demonstrated that the use of this nasal spray daily reduces the incidence of COVID-19 infection by a vast 67%. This is a simple and inexpensive procedure (about $10 per month) that people can use to prevent COVID-19. I encourage members of the Waterman Community to ask their physician if this is something that would benefit them.
