If the kitchen is the heart of the home, then Lakeside at Waterman Village’s welcoming reception area is the heart of the community. The reception desk and lobby sit right in the middle of all the action, alive with life and humming with communication. The front desk—where guests are first welcomed—is a hub of information for residents, and we’ve gone to great lengths to make the reception area friendly and fun. When you walk into the lobby of Lakeside at Waterman Village, the first thing you will notice is the vast open space. The extra room to sit isn’t just practical; it also creates a welcoming atmosphere. The interior design is hip and colorful, from the geometric patterns on the carpets and walls to the beautiful plants and stylish lighting. Most importantly, the couches are comfortable. While in the reception area, you may hear lively conversation and laughter nearby. If you peek your head around the corner, you will see the café/pub. Here, members of our community can grab food or drinks with their family and friends. The café isn’t just a casual meeting place for food, though. With our array of televisions, you can enjoy the news or sports with the other Lakeside at Waterman Village residents. This arrangement allows our front desk to act as a social hub instead of being designed solely for information and logistics. Who knew the front lobby could be the source of so much fun?
