I want to share an important update regarding the UF Health Medical Clinic on our campus. UF Health has renewed its lease and will continue serving as our on-campus provider.
In response to resident feedback, they will be adjusting their schedule to spread out clinic days rather than holding them back-to-back. While they hope to see an increase in utilization of the clinic, they are currently reducing their on-campus hours. This change ensures that a physician is not scheduled to be on-site without appointments.
If you need care outside of their on-campus hours, you may contact their main office at (352) 720-7985, where they can assist you in scheduling an appointment at their nearby location.
New Clinic Hours (Effective September 10):
- Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
We encourage you to consider UF Health as your medical provider. Nurse Practitioner Natalie Farinas comes highly recommended, and it is a proper convenience to have quality medical care right here on campus. Please note that UF Health can access your medical records regardless of your preferred hospital system (including AdventHealth), so you can continue your care seamlessly.
The clinic is open today. Please call to schedule an appointment—or feel free to stop by if you have any immediate needs.
You will soon notice that we are adding a memo board featuring UF Health and MedSpa events, specials, and information, located near activity postings at both Lakeside and Oaks.
We want your feedback. Please respond privately to me with any positive or negative feedback you may have to share with UF Health, so we can serve you better!**
