On occasion, a person may select a senior living community based on some type of 'incentive' (discount or sale) that the community was offering at the time they investigated it, even though the community was not their first/preferred overall choice. Then, the senior, or family member, later on deeply regret having made their decision primarily based on an incentive alone, and not based on whether or not the community was in their or their loved one's, best overall interest in the long run.
We encourage you to fully consider all the features, benefits, and potential quality of life that each community you research offers, over the long-term, and not just the short-term.
Our friendly non-pressuring retirement living counselors, are happy to gently assist you and/or your loved one in the research and discernment process. They have close to 50 years of combined senior living community experience between them.
We believe retirement communities that offers discounts or incentives, that someone must accept within 24 or 48 hours, or else they won't get the incentive or discount, is not a preferred/appropriate way to work with people, during such an important/difficult decision/time in their lives.
