Incentives

Wellness 55 Plus Water ExcersizeOn occasion, a person may select a senior living community based on some type of ‘incentive’ (discount or sale) that the community was offering at the time they investigated it, even though the community was not their first/preferred overall choice. Then, the senior, or family member, later on deeply regret having made their decision primarily based on an incentive alone, and not based on whether or not the community was in their or their loved one’s, best overall interest in the long run.

We encourage you to fully consider all the features, benefits, and potential quality of life that each community you research offers, over the long-term, and not just the short-term.

Our friendly non-pressuring retirement living counselors, are happy to gently assist you and/or your loved one in the research and discernment process.  They have close to 50 years of combined senior living community experience between them.

We believe retirement communities that offers discounts or incentives, that someone must accept within 24 or 48 hours, or else they won’t get the incentive or discount, is not a preferred/appropriate way to work with people, during such an important/difficult decision/time in their lives.

Waterman Village was originally established, and still is, a not-for-profit ministry founded on the commandments of: ‘loving one another’ and treating others with ‘the Golden Rule’ in mind.

Don’t forget to look at the whole picture!

My wife and I moved to Waterman Village 2 yrs. ago after looking for a place we could call our forever home.  We are very happy we chose this place as the staff and residents are the best , you can do as much or as little as you want as far as activities go and is a great place to enjoy our retirement years.  It is nice to live in a safe , quiet , gated community that is very well laid out and landscaped . We are living our best life.
